There's 3 weeks of Christmas vacation. Till school comes along just to end it. So the annual problem for our generation. Is finding a good way to spend it. Like maybe building a rocket or fighting a mummy.
Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower. Discovering something that doesn't exist. Or giving a monkey a shower. Seems familiar isn't it? That was a song and I just changed some of the lyrics (Today is gonna be a great day - Bowling for soup) What about the song? I think that the song is somehow true because sometimes we're having trouble deciding what to do in Christmas vacation to make memorable and worthwhile, but for me Christmas is just any other day but no classes which makes it special though. The feeling a having a Christmas vacation is like a prisoner escaped from prison, although you are currently having the sweet taste of freedom but in reality you are not really free, because if you are a prisoner you will still be a prisoner and you are still wanted by a law, same is true with us students, alright we are free and we can do whatever we want and whatever we can but we can't keep doing it forever. Thinking about these things makes me want to spend my vacation to the fullest. That was my expectations but in reality having a perfect vacation is just a fantasy but that does not mean that we can't have a great vacation.
My Christmas vacation didn't go exactly what I expected but it was fine. We went to the school where we went in high school because they're having their Christmas party, every room has their own party so what we did was we went to every classroom we know and joined they party, it was tiring to go to classroom after classroom but it was worth the effort, we had ourselves a full stomach. Of course we can't do that everyday so the next couple of days it was just a normal day without classes again so I had to think about what other things to do worth wasting my time. I was watching a Chinese movie when I thought what if I can understand what the Chinese actors were saying without the aid of English subtitles so I searched the internet form a free audiobook on how to learn Chinese language and luckily I found one and I listened to it for a week until I got tired because It has been a week and still all I know was how to count Chinese numbers, it was a good achievement though. That's all I did this vacation because I don't have the fund to go to some far away places like others do, but I still enjoyed my vacation.
